Privacy Policy

We collect personal data directly from you when you:

• Submit the contact form— name, email, phone number, message, and the service you're interested in.
• Apply for a job — name, email, phone number, years of experience, and your resume (PDF or Word document).
• Sign in to the staff monitoring portal (/monitor, /login) — your email address and authentication credentials, if you are an authorized Greenify team member. This area is not for public use.

We also collect limited technical data automatically once you consent to analytics cookies — see Section 4, Cookies & Analytics below.

• To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
• To review and process job applications, including contacting candidates about open roles.
• To authenticate authorized staff for the monitoring portal and protect it from unauthorized access.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it, once you've consented to analytics cookies.
• To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse (for example, via Google reCAPTCHA on our forms).

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website, each acting under their own privacy and security terms:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS)— hosts this website and its authentication (Cognito) and jobs database (DynamoDB), primarily in AWS's Mumbai (ap-south-1) region.
• Sanity — our content management system for blog and product content. It does not receive personal data you submit through forms.
• Google— Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (only after you accept analytics cookies) and Google reCAPTCHA (on our forms, to block automated abuse). Data these services process may be handled on Google's infrastructure outside India, under Google's own Privacy Policy.
• Our own email systems — contact-form and job-application submissions are delivered to our team by email.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Greenify or others.

This site uses two kinds of cookies/local storage:

• Necessary— used to remember your cookie choice and keep the staff monitoring portal secure. These are always on; the site can't function correctly without them.
• Analytics — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, used to understand traffic and engagement. These are off by defaultand only load after you click "Accept All" on the cookie banner. You can decline them entirely by choosing "Necessary Only".

Most browsers let you clear stored site data at any time, which resets your cookie choice and shows the banner again on your next visit.

• Contact-form and job-application data (including resumes) is retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
• Monitoring-portal account data is retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deactivation for security and audit purposes.
• Analytics data collected after consent follows Google Analytics' own retention settings.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data — including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on our hosting and authentication systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Under the DPDP Act and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of your data, subject to any legal or contractual reasons we may need to retain it.
• Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time.
• Register a grievance with us regarding how your data has been handled (see Section 10).
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
